Greetings 1909-1968 Connell High School Alumni!

 The 2009 reunion committee is excited about the upcoming August 15, 16, 2009 reunion.  Over the past two and half years, the committee has been busy planning for a great event.  We’ve added a CHS reunion information website, www.connelleaglereview.com, streamlined our class roster system, added classes 1965 through 1968 to the reunion, made required reservations, and selected menus for the park picnic, banquet and brunch functions. 

The committee has researched serving alcohol (beer and or wine) at the reunion.  The costs for city security, insurance and liability are such that it is not in the best interest of the reunion to sponsor alcohol related drinks.  The good news is, Dave Hart of Michael Jay’s restaurant has agreed to set aside a large room in their bar area for those who wish to adjourn for libation at the end of Saturday’s banquet festivities. 

As we close in on next summer’s event, the committee will be making final arrangements and could use additional help with the various activities.  If anyone is interested in volunteering, please contact a committee member.  Our next reunion newsletter will be issued in April 2009.  The April newsletter will include the reunion registration form.  If for some reason you require additional registration information, go to the CHS reunion web site.  If you have questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to email a committee member, your comments are important to us.
